Your pink lily produced a lot more flowers than mine did- maybe because mine has to live in a pot??

Perhaps, but I have found that lilies do well in pots and I have several that are in shallow, crowded pots doing well. It may be the age/size of the bulbs (I may have paid more for an older bulb), fertilizer, cliamatic conditions, or simply variety. I don't remember the variety name of mine.
The yellow one in the picture above had only 2 blooms this year. Next year should have more...if the bulbs aren't stolen. Been having problems with flower bulb thieves.
