Now that is what a tree is supposed to be about. I sure miss seeing the Douglas firs. The pines are nice, but not the same.
This was a HUGE tree. It came down because it got the needle cast virus. Walter had already taken out the bottom 1/3 of it. Just what he did cut should keep Daddy in firewood most of the winter. Walter said he was getting like 60 pieces of firewood out of each round he split up.
